Overview

College Express is a new project that aims to help high school students with their college application process. Through cooperating with high schools in the community around, our SIFE members provide students help through 1-1 mentoring opportunities, application process workshop (SAT/ACT preparation), post-application preparations, and major selection panel. Our goal is not only to increase the post-secondary application and enrollment rate in local high schools, but also increase students' awareness of receiving higher education.



Impact

Utilizing our knowledge in college application process, we are able to facilitate high school students go through application smoothly. Meanwhile, since the majority of high school students in our community around will be first generation college students in their family, by sharing our college experience, students can get a bette idea about what colleges are, what's college for and why they need to receive such education.
